Road ahead looks very cold and bleak.

Stopping off for a break. Note the landyacht masquerading as a trailer.
|

The trailer is now a three-seater landyacht. Very ingenuous.
|

Nifty axle arrangement on this Class 5.

Another set-up view showing the trolley of the c5.

One of the hardy sailors sorting his mast crane.

All set and ready to go.

Finally sailing.

Hello
Thank you for publishing the pictures that I sent. I hope other people from Chile and Argentina contact us.
The trailer landyacht and the Class 5 were designed by Alfredo Barros, a friend of mine. He has lots of ideas and all the time is thinking how to improve his landyacht designs.
The "trailer landyacht" is made with aluminium square tubes and uses motorcycles wheels and suspension. It even has brakes! Very soft to ride. The Class 5 also has suspension or shock absorber (translated directly from Spanish is something like"cube" shock absorbers). Alfredo decided to use suspension after riding in the Atacama Desert, 1500 km north of Santiago, where the terrain was not so soft as the Pampa del Leoncito.
Now I am working with other friends in building a Class 5 landyacht. I am sending you a picture of my friend Calixto who is planning a strange land yacht in his shop. Calixto is the bearded one in one of he images he is teaching me how to repair my sail.
I will keep you informed on the building progress.
Best Regards
Juan Enrique Quiñones
