The wind was average 6 knots. The whole length of the beach (20 metres up from the low tide mark) had moon holes from the strong easterlies we'd had over the previous few days. Five c3s and nine c5s showed up along with Ian "Mac" McLachlan from Palmerston North and his Ludic. Only the c3s had a burst or flutter. We showed up at 1pm and left at dusk. Keen interest from the spectators and beach goers. Everyone had a good day talking going yachts, sharing ideas and generally enjoying each others company.
